PIANO Lessons
Individual Piano
Individual piano lessons involve the teaching of technique, sight-reading skills and aural skills. Lessons can be conducted individually or in a group of a maximum of 3 students. A range of repertoire will be covered to ensure that learners are exposed to the works of different composers.
On top of regular lessons, students can look forward to enhancing their music learning experience through additional programmes conducted by the studio:
- Duet classes
- Masterclasses for exam and competition training
- Quarterly digital recitals
- Annual celebration concert
Students who wish to take music theory and piano practical exams will be taught the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM) syllabus, and may choose to sit for either internal examinations or examinations conducted by ABRSM.
Lessons are also available on Zoom on request.
Duet Piano Lessons
We offer duet classes for students who prefer to learn with someone else. Classes can be customised to fit the learning needs and preferences of both students.
Typical flow of a group lesson:
- Opening routine
- Learning repertoire
- Solo practice and individual feedback
- Presentation and peer feedback
- Music theory - collaborative games and deskwork
- Duet work
- Closing routine
