Our space is equipped with a Yamaha GB1K baby grand piano for our individual, duet and group keyboard classes, two Casio digital pianos for our duet and seniors keyboard classes, and four Casio keyboards for our group keyboard classes.
We have curated a variety of percussion instruments to teach our youngest students the basics of rhythm, melody, harmony, aural sensitivity and improvisation. We have intentionally chosen instruments from different cultures to enable children to experience music-making in different contexts and foster in them an early appreciation of diversity. To minimise our carbon footprint, most of the instruments we use are made of natural, non-toxic and sustainably-sourced materials.
Our studio is equipped with plushies, puppets, wooden toys, flashcards and posters depicting realistic animals, objects and scenes, scarves, ribbon sticks, bands and various learning tools to bring to life the themes explored in our early years classes and reinforce technique and theoretical concepts in our piano students.
Tucked away in a corner of our reception area are book trolleys replete with titles about music, faith and love. For fellow piano enthusiasts, you may browse through the upper shelves and borrow scores spanning across all four periods of Western Art Music history, as well as pop, worship and contemporary scores.
We have a toilet in the studio with a shower that can be used by all our families.
