Class Duration

30 minutes, once a week, parent-accompanied


Programme Description

  • Group class for parents to attend with their babies
  • Parents will learn activities that will help them to bond and play musically with their babies and stimulate the development of the baby's left and right brain through music
  • Activities include learning how to sing, move, dance, rock, bounce their babies and play wiggle, tickle and peek-a-boo games with them in a musical context
  • Parent Book and CD with high-quality recordings for parents to recreate musical experiences with their babies at home. Music and songs are performed by professional singers, instrumentalists and children's choir.
  • This programme is also suitable for pregnant mothers. The foetus will be bathed in the musical environment which promotes brain development. Parents will learn how to bond and play musically with the newborn baby.

Programme Description

  • Group class for parents to attend with their toddlers
  • Parents and children will participate in fun musical activities that foster bonding as well as enhance the children's total development i.e. physical, intellectual, language, musical, cognitive, creativity and social-emotional skills
  • Activites include singing, chanting, moving, dancing, focused listening, rocking, bouncing and playing developmentally-appropriate instruments. These activities lay the foundation for learning an instrument.
  • Parent Book and CD with high-quality recordings for parents to recreate musical experiences with their children at home.

Programme Description

  • Group class for children to attend independently. Parents are invited to participate in the last 10 minutes of the class
  • Activities include singing, chanting, dancing, musical games, focused listening, ensemble work, storytelling and dramatization
  • Children will learn basic musical concepts, rhythm patterns (Gordon rhythm language) and tonal patterns (solfege).

Class Duration

1 hour, once a week, independent with parent sharing segment


Programme Description

Try out a completely aural approach to learning the keyboard. By the end of the course, children will be able to:

  • Sing in pitch and play the piano with both hands
  • Play a piece in several different keys
  • Compose simple pieces
  • Sight-read and sight-sing
  • Prepare to sit for the ABRSM Grade 1 exam by Level 3


Lesson Components:

  • Singing circle: to develop the repertoire that will aurally prepare the child for keyboard work
  • Drumming and/or dancing: to foster beat competence and an understanding of meter
  • Echo patterns and aural recognition games: to develop music literacy and train the ear
  • Keyboard work: to bridge the songs learned in the singing circle, establish tonality, hand position, posture, and to encourage improvisation and peer sharing
  • Parent time: to give parents opportunities to share in the music-making so that they can assist the learning process at home
